Our story
More than 20 years in renewable energy: from Poland through Europe to Australia — and the new chapter we are writing today.
How Nowa Energia came to be
Nowa Energia began trading in 2003 as a developer of wind-farm projects in Poland. Working alongside strategic partners, it took part in several dozen ventures with a combined capacity of more than 1,500 MW, covering the full development cycle — from securing land and obtaining permits through to preparing projects for construction.
In 2017 Jarosław carried the Nowa Energia vision to Australia, establishing Nowa Energia Australia in Adelaide. That two-continent experience — the full renewable-development cycle from Pomerania to South Australia — leads into the chapter the Group opens in 2026.
Timeline
One continuous story: Poland → Europe → Australia → the new Nowa Energia.
The beginning
Nowa Energia begins its journey in the renewable-energy sector in Poland — the start of more than two decades of experience in renewable-energy project development. The first wind farm near Słupsk: 7 turbines with a combined capacity of 1.1 MW, one of the earliest wind installations in Pomerania.

Darżyno — securing the land
Acquisition of approximately 70 hectares of land in Darżyno for the development of a 6 MW wind farm.
Wicko
Acquisition of approximately 30 hectares of land in Wicko for the development of a 10 MW wind project.
Darżyno 6 MW & Enercon E82
Development, construction and sale of the 6 MW Darżyno wind farm — with the first Enercon E-82 turbines in Poland, rated at 2 MW each; the farm is now owned by Grupa Enea. During this period the team built hands-on expertise across the complete development process: from land acquisition and permitting to grid connection and commercialisation.

1.5+ GW development portfolio
The renewable-energy portfolio developed together with strategic partners grew to more than 1,500 MW. Cooperation with Taiga Mistral was established, including the signing of a 28 MW contract.
Taiga Mistral — Łysomice
A further 48 MW contract in Łysomice was signed with Taiga Mistral.
AES & Norvento
Nowa Energia signed a major 422 MW contract with AES, together with a further 48 MW contract with Norvento. Following the rapid expansion of the portfolio, the business increasingly focused on execution and delivery of the projects and contracts already secured.
Execution phase
The company concentrated on implementation, development management and execution of its renewable-energy portfolio and contractual commitments.
Completion of the first European chapter
Changes involving the American strategic partner marked the end of the first major European development phase. It was not, however, the end of the Nowa Energia story.
Nowa Energia Australia
Jarosław expanded the Nowa Energia vision internationally by establishing Nowa Energia Australia in Adelaide, South Australia (the Pty Ltd company was formally registered in 2018). The development experience and know-how built in Europe were transferred into the Australian renewable-energy market: wind, utility-scale solar, distributed solar and battery energy storage projects.

International development
See the Australian project registerNowa Energia Australia developed a substantial pipeline of renewable-energy opportunities — including major wind and solar projects such as Jasper, Coral, Lazurite and Carnelian — alongside a portfolio of smaller solar and battery projects in South Australia.
This chapter is the international continuation of the development experience originally built in Europe. Publicly confirmed ventures are presented in the project register.
The new chapter
Today, Nowa Energia enters the next phase of its development. We are bringing together more than 20 years of renewable-energy experience across Europe and Australia and combining this heritage with a new integrated energy strategy.
- Renewable-energy project development
- Solar PV
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Energy cooperatives and local energy models
- Energy solutions for businesses
- Green hydrogen — HydroH2
Poland → Europe → Australia → the new Nowa Energia
This is not the story of a new company entering renewable energy in 2026. It is the story of a renewable-energy development platform with roots going back more than two decades, international project experience, and a new strategy designed for today’s energy market.
Four pillars of credibility
