About Nowa Energia
A Polish energy group headquartered in Gdynia — together with HydroH2 we develop green hydrogen, co-create the Local Energy Cooperative programme and partner with businesses on energy.
Who we are today
Nowa Energia S.A. and HydroH2 together form Grupa Nowa Energia — the companies are joined by shared owners, a strategic cooperation agreement and one management team. From Gdynia we direct the strategy and development of joint ventures in three complementary areas of the energy market: producing green hydrogen and renewable fuels, developing energy cooperatives, and supplying electricity to businesses.
The Group runs projects in Poland, Australia and the United Arab Emirates. Its foundation is more than two decades of renewable-energy development experience — but what the Group is today is defined by the three areas of activity below.

Areas of activity
Group structure
Nowa Energia S.A. and HydroH2 sp. z o.o. are joined by shared owners, a strategic cooperation agreement and one management team — the companies operate together as Grupa Nowa Energia, without a holding structure. The Local Energy Cooperative programme is delivered through a partnership model: the technical and organisational side of the cooperatives is run by KCRES — the National Centre for the Development of Cooperative Energy (Krajowe Centrum Rozwoju Energetyki Spółdzielczej).
