Environmental aspects

ENVIRONMENT

is important to us

The development of the RES sector is a result of economic, technological, social, and above all, environmental conditions.

The demand for energy is increasing, however, energy production may soon be stifled by stricter environmental requirements and the depletion of traditional raw materials.
Renewable energy ensures self-sufficiency for any country that chooses this solution. It is a constantly evolving technology, stimulating the development of regions where wind farms are constructed.
The problem of the energy sector is environmental protection requirements. Poland must reduce CO2 emissions, lower energy consumption and produce it from renewable sources. Otherwise, our country will pay multi-million penalties, and each of us will suffer.

Regardless of the beauty of the moving wind turbine blades against the background of Polish fields and meadows, nature protection is paramount. Wind energy production technology is emission-free. By choosing it, we protect the environment from excessive greenhouse gas emissions.

All the above-mentioned aspects speak for involvement in an industry that benefits us all. We firmly believe in the success of wind energy development.

ACOUSTICSĀ

of the wind mills

Wind turbine, like any mechanical device, emits sound. Its intensity is not greater than the sounds of the devices surrounding us in every household. Sound is calibrated in decibels (dB). The fewer decibels, the device is quieter.

Do wind turbines emit sounds? Yes, but it is negligible in the background of natural sounds.

The noise level generated by household Bosh equipment is as follows:

  • fridge: 40 – 50 dB;
  • kitchen hood: 57 – 71 dB;
  • dishwasher: 44 – 48 dB;
  • washing machine: 56 – 78 dB.

The acceptable sound level of the wind farm

The permissible level of noise emitted by a wind farm is regulated by the Regulation of the Minister of Environment of 14 June 2007 (Dz. U. 2007 r. nr 120 poz. 826) and is within 40-45 dB at night (thus not higher than the noise level emitted by household appliances), and within 50-60 dB during the day.

The protection for the inhabitants from excessive sound emission.

The construction of a wind power plant requires the investor to comply with noise regulations. Many years have passed since the first noisy wind turbines were manufactured and there has been a significant change in the reduction of noise emitted by these turbines. This is due to, among other things, additional silencing, appropriate blade profiling and a reduced rotational speed.
